We are blessed with a sanctuary that is beautiful and has good acoustics, and a music program that is also high quality.

The music program takes many forms and offers many opportunities for participation. It combines an artful approach to music with a humility that makes it accessible to all. There is a Junior Choir for those between 6 and 13 years of age, and a Chancel Choir, which is made up of dedicated volunteers and four paid section leaders. Soloists and guest instrumentalists perform frequently, adding another dimension to the musical offerings.

The music selections are diverse, and always high quality. On any Sunday, you will hear music carefully selected to complement liturgical themes, and you will enjoy a varied repertoire, ranging from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary classical choices to Bach’s Easter Oratorio, complete with a full period-instrument orchestra. We love to sing time-honored hymns, spirituals, and international music.

In addition to Sunday morning worship, the church is alive with musical and other cultural events. Recent concerts have featured the 200-voice Mystic Chorale, the early music ensemble Ecclesia, and the New Philharmonia Orchestra. The church is also the site for numerous vocal and instrumental recitals.

Youth Choir

The youth choir is open to children a 6th grade and up. The choir practices at 10am the last Sunday of each month. They perform during the church service on the first Sunday of the month.

Music Program For Adults

The Chancel Choir welcomes people who love to sing, and performs each Sunday. Rehearsal begins at 8:30am Sunday morning.
